Date: 22nd May 2017 @ 8:28pm
22nd May: The sun has shone and the children have had a wonderful day! After a delicious tea and a campfire we are now in our pyjamas watching a film. All the children are happy and are looking forward to another super day tomorrow!!! We will add all the photos later in the week so keep a close eye on the blog.
25th May: We hope the children have shared lots of wonderful stories with you about Tattenhall! All the children were wonderfully wonderfully behaved, polite and made us very proud. Once the year 1s left us we settled around the campfire for songs and marshamallows. then we went inside and watched Horrid Henry in our pyjamas. The next morning we started the day with a full english and the spent the day playing in the sunshine. We even had a huge game of rounders. We hope you enjoy the pictures!!
Some of the children's thoughts from circle time ...
Learning the African dance was so fun.
I enjoyed art because I made a lizard.
I loved playing cricket with Mr leeman, he hits the ball really hard.
I loved the climbing frame it went so high.
I know how to sing an African song.
I liked playing with my friends in the sun.
Mr Jackson played football with us it was so fun.
I thought bedtime was fun, I slept on a top bunk and kept chatting to my friends.
I liked watching a film before bed, I sat with Miss Phillips.
Mrs Rice played really good football! She tackled me.
This was my best trip ever!
I really want to go back next week.
Mrs Oldham and Mrs Le helped me to sing songs round the campfire, we sang coming round the mountain!
I love toasting marshmallows it was so exciting.
