RE What is the Good News?

This week we have been studying the Good News. We have watched an animation of the Pharisee and theTax Collector and worked in groups hot seating as the characters. The groups then explored why the Pharisee was so boastful and so arrogant, believing that God loved him so much more than the Tax Collector? They also probed why the Tax Collector felt he had to go to the temple to confess his sins as God is all knowing and already knew he was sorry? The children came up with some very challenging insightful questions and responses!
