Mr Jackson's Big Maths Class

My class are learning Stage 0/1 Maths.

The class have settled well and have been working hard at practical tasks and problem solving.

Over the first few weeks we have looked at:

Understanding the numeral, value and Numicon value of numbers to 10.

Recognising numbers to 20 and their values and showing this by ciounting out objects.

Making estimates of arrangements of objects

Finally the children have been problem solving to find one more and one less than numbers to 20 using counters and numicon.

The children have been very busy
