Divali Cookery

A big thanks to everyone who came along today to the cookery and food tasting workshop on our Divali Day. The behaviour was impeccable and the finished Divali sweets were delicious. Mrs Jones was very pleased that everyone tried hard and joined in.Most people found something new that they didn't know that they liked. The Onion Bhajis, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Kebabs, Vegetable Samosas and Poppadoms were gorgeous. A big thanks to Mrs Hyslop for getting it all for us! Well done, too, to those children who couldn't partake due to allergies. We hope your alternative treat was yummy! We think the Divali Day was a great success and also raised some money for charity at Harvest Time. Let's hope we can all enjoy another culture some time soon!
