Year 5 Brass drop in lesson for Parents

Parents had the opportunity to drop in to Year 5’s Brass this afternoon to see how the children are progressing in their weekly Music lessons.  Our Brass tutors Mr Turner and Mrs Powlson choose 3 different pieces for the children to play, focussing on rhythm, tempo and dynamics.  Year 5 also shared their own Christmas lyrics to Jazzamatazz, this was a challenge set by Mr Turner last week so we heard “Christmas Crazy” instead of “Football Crazy”.  Year 5 have made good progress in this first term, they have improved their listening skills, concentration and have learnt to play at least 3 notes!  Keep up the good work Yr5.
