Whole School Litter Pick

Litter Picking Day was a success with classes collecting bags and bags of litter from the community. We were all surprised by the amount we ended up collecting and appreciated the support we had from parents and carers who were able to help us today.

This was an important event because all 26 primary schools in Northwich took part and this event was lead by the representatives of the Northwich Children’s Parliament which represents the views of all primary schools in the area. All the schools agreed that litter was an issue which they wanted to address so together they all decided to do a whole school litter pick to improve their community.

I can’t be sure of the exact number of children that took part across Northwich today but it will be in the thousands. Well done to everyone!
