Our topic for this half term is FROZEN PLANET.
The children are already full of exciting information and really interesting questions, so hopefully this topic will be another success! I have attached our topic web.
This half term, music will be delivered by Mrs Clewes on a Wednesday afternoon. PE will now be delivered by the class teacher, the children will need their indoor PE kit as we will be studying dance.
Shares will now be on a Wednesday afternoon, the children may share items linked to our topic, their achievements out of school, visits they have been on, favourite books, souvenirs and/or work they have completed at home. The children are not to share toys. If your child's class has a share rota please only send in shares on their share day.
Homework for this half term will be as follows ...
Y1: Reading 3-4 times weekly, spellings and 1 piece of maths a week.
Y2: Reading 3-4 times weekly, spellings, times tables (random 2x for the Silver Award) and 1 piece of maths a week.
We hope the children will enjoy this topic and the run up to Christmas.
